1. What is the Fine Arts Boutique project? Our website is a project that connects our artists and their exceptional talents to all the people in the world, people like ourselves, people that get fascinated by beautiful things. Our idea is to create a place, where things like viewing artworks, obtaining relevant information, or placing orders can be done comfortably and easily. We are planning on growing our artist community and turning this website into a valuable multifaceted resource.

2. What is DP Studio Online and and its connection to this site? We have started three years ago, in 2007, when we registered our design studio, Glowing Mind. Around the time, we have met Dmitriy Pavlov, who asked us to design his website to present a comprehensive portfolio of his works. We designed the DP Studio Online and became Dmitriy's online team of representatives who handled all the communications and orders. Later, in 2008 we have realized the need to present more talented artists on the Web and we started drafting the Fine Arts Boutique project. The first version of the Fine Arts Boutique was launched in 2009, and now in 2010 we proudly present its new and improved look.

3. Who is in the Fine Arts Boutique team? Ever since we started in 2007, we have worked as a small website team consisting of three people: Maria Kurolapnik, Andre Kuzmicheff, and Andrey Kosarev. Maria Kurolapnik is the executive, marketing, and sales manager. She handles all the communications with clients and artists, processes all the orders and purchases, and represents our boutique in all the online and offline events and places. Andre Kuzmicheff is the website, feature, and content manager. He ensures that the website is in good functional condition and presentable appearance. Andre also oversees and plans future content and features for our website. And Andrey Kosarev is the site system administrator responsible for the website functioning, availability, and security.

4. What kind of products and services do you offer? Fine Arts Boutique offers jewelry, fine art, and weaponry engraving services, provided by our talented artists, Dmitriy Pavlov and Dmitry Malakhov. Our gallery shows their comprehensive portfolios, and the website is designed to promote and sell their artwork. We take orders for custom crafted jewelry pieces, miniatures, handmade knives, and firearm engravings. All our items are hand crafted to order and can be customized according to your specifications. We take orders for existing designs, but can also design something entirely new and one of a kind.

11. Are all your products handcrafted? All Fine Arts Boutique products are 100% handcrafted. We do not sell cast pieces, or laser or machine engravings. All jewelry pieces crafted by Dmitriy Pavlov are hand pierced and engraved from solid metal bands. Dmitriy Pavlov is a professional goldsmith, who designs, crafts, engraves, and sets gems in all his artwork. Dmitry Malakhov's knives are made from scratch as well: Dmitry designs his knives, forges the steel and hammers the blades, crafts handles and guards, sews leather holsters, and makes knife stands and other accessories.

12. Can your artists replicate their work? The answer to this question usually depends on the artist and the chosen item. Dmitriy Pavlov, for example, can reproduce mostly all of his jewelry pieces, while each Dmitry Malakhov's knife is unique. Some works can be replicated, some can be crafted similar to the original, and some works are so unique, that they cannot be recreated, but instead we might be able to use their initial design to craft new items. If you have a question about a specific item, just press the Ask Question button and send us your request.
