This page contains some of the common questions about the Fine Arts Boutique purchases and orders. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
1. What are the ready for sale items? Some of these items were crafted for a specific event, such as an art show or competition; others were born purely out of the artist's imagination, his desire to create something new, his urge to experiment with new materials, tools, and techniques, and the need to continuously master his skills.

4. How to customize an order? Please contact us if you wish to place a custom order. We will discuss the desired parameters of your piece. If your order involves design customization or if we are about to use your own design, we will prepare a sketch with several design variations for your approval. Once we agree on the details, we will prepare and send you the order form with order details and terms, and and invoice. We will ask you to review your order, accept our terms, and send it back to us, as well as pay the invoice amount in full. When we receive your signed order form and the full payment, we will put your order in progress.

5. Is there a fee for creating a custom design? The development of the initial design based on your specifications is free. We usually provide you with several design variations to look at. If you decide to choose one of the presented designs, but will need some minor modifications, we will still do it for free. If you did not like any of the presented sketches, but still want us to design your engraving, we will charge $250 design fee (plus 5.5% sales tax for orders shipped in the State of Wisconsin) for each subsequent design. This money is nonrefundable, as it meant to cover the artist's labor and time, but when you place your order, this money will be counted toward the purchase.

6. Can you craft an item using my own gems? Usually, our artists prefer using their own gems. Our artists proudly stand behind the quality of their craftsmanship and use only top quality materials. Occasionally, we receive requests from our customers to incorporate their own gems in the ordered jewelry or fine art piece. We understand that in many cases these gems have a sentimental value, but their condition, shape, cut, or polish often makes it very hard or even impossible for us to use them. In general, we do not accept any small gems (0.2 ct or less). However, we might use your own central gem or some rare unique stone. In any case, if you wish us to use your own gems, please ask first. All customer's gems shipped to us must be removed from the old gem settings; we do not cut old jewelry to remove gems.

7. Can you craft an item using my own materials? We do not accept scrap gold or any other metals from old jewelry. All metals used in Fine Arts Boutique jewelry and fine art production are acquired by our artists and have to match our high quality standards. On the other hand, if you possess a rare organic material of a unique shape or color, for example a piece of ebony wood you wish to use as a handle for your custom crafted knife, just let us know and we will see if that would be possible.

8. How long does it usually take to craft an item? The time it takes to craft an item varies with respect to design complexity and artist’s current availability. We usually reserve three weeks for jewelry engraving; time frames for fine art, custom crafted knives, and weaponry engravings are provided for each order individually. Your order will be put into progress as soon as the payment clears. You will receive frequent order status notifications until the item is ready and shipped to you. If you created a user account at our website, you will be able to monitor the progress of your order and will receive status updates. You are also welcome to contact us at any time and inquire about your order status. Your ready item will be shipped to you within 48 hours after being ready.

9. What would I receive with my order? Each item ordered from the Fine Arts Boutique comes with its limited warranty certificate, its authenticity certificate, and a care guide. The item itself is always packed in a nice box which can be used for the item's storage and transportation. Our company is very dedicated to preserving natural resources, and our goal is eventually go completely paperless. This is why we ship copies of your order and receipt along with your order only when you specify so; otherwise, we e-mail these documents to you.
