Hello and welcome!

Hello and welcome to our new website! Finally, it is completed and launched, and we are very excited about it. There are several reasons for our excitement. We have added more beautiful works to our gallery, we have added more information about our artists, we have added the new Library section, we have made our website available in three languages, and we have improved its overall look and functionality. We truly believe that we have made our website better, and that you are going to like and enjoy the viewing experience and the improved information in the new version of Fine Arts Boutique.

Our Gallery Additions and Improvements. We have worked hard to improve our gallery, and we have built a completely new gallery viewer. It works like a carousel, it understands the mouse scrolling and keyboard control, and it even automatically adjusts to the size of your screen for optimal viewing experience. Of course, no matter how good the viewer is, the works of art are what makes our gallery. We have added many new items from from our artists, item prices and their availability for sale, and better detailed item descriptions and remarks. We will post two separate updates later with an overview of all items added to the latest version of our gallery.

New Sections and Information Additions. When we launched our first website three years ago, we have realized that there is so much knowledge about the art and craft in our gallery, but there is no single well organized knowledge base. We started reading and learning from various sources, and we have collected a pretty good amount of material, which we have reworked and introduced as the new Library section on our website. Check it out, and tell us what else you would like to know, so we can make it even more helpful and informative for you and other visitors. We have also added more information about our artists, and we will be adding even more interesting facts about their approaches, their techniques, and their art as a whole.

The Website Available Languages. In the past three years we have had many visitors from almost every country in the world, and we always wanted to enable our international visitors to view our gallery in their native language. Today, we are excited to announce that we have made it available in three languages: English, Russian, and Hebrew. We translated the pages of our website manually with help of several passionate and professional translators. We are willing to make our website available in more languages, and we are asking for your help. And even though, we constantly and eagerly search for an appropriate internationalization tool for our gallery, Google Translate, ABBYY Lingvo, and other automatic translation services just could not deliver the expected clarity of content. If you are an international visitor, who would like to help us translate our website in your native language, we will be glad to hear from you and arrange a conversation.

Website Design and Functionality Improvements. Besides the major design and functionality improvements in our gallery, we have accomplished many little things that should make our website easier comprehensible, faster accessible, and simply more intuitive. We have reworked our website navigation menu and have made it completely expandable and available on most of pages. We have added overlays for interactive forms and for photographs outside the gallery, so you do not have to leave the page you are visiting to send us a message or to view a photo. And we have designed a new search results page, which lists the results of your search query separately for our gallery items and for the rest of pages.

Your experience and feedback. Of course, these are just a few things we think are worth mentioning in the first news post, and you can do a much better judgment of the work we have done by checking out our website on your own. Whether it is a honest praise or constructive critique, please feel free to get in touch with us by sending us a message, giving us a phone call, or writing us a letter. We are always glad to hear what you think about our gallery, our artists, and our website. Please send us your feedback and let us know what we should do to make our boutique even better.
