Boutique Story

We had started three years ago, in 2007, when we registered our design studio, Glowing Mind. Around the time we started, we had met Dmitriy Pavlov, who asked us to design his website to present a comprehensive portfolio of his works. We had listened to Dmitriy and decided to design his website, since it also was going to be a good practice for us as designers of visual displays of information. In less than two months from that moment, we had launched the first website, DP Studio Online, that featured 40 custom hand crafted and engraved works of Dmitriy Pavlov, and provided information about the artist, his talent and career, and his exhibitions and awards. We had become Dmitriy's online team of representatives and handled all the DP Studio Online communications and orders.

In 2008, we had met Dmitry Malakhov, and we had been taken away by his talent and work. At that moment, we had realized the need to present more talented artists on the Web. Dmitriy Pavlov had supported our idea, and we started drafting the Fine Arts Boutique project. We had put together a project plan, and the work began. We were going to introduce many interesting features on that website, but the development had not undergone as planned. Nonetheless, with quite a few features missing, we had launched Fine Arts Boutique in 2009.

That website featured some 60 works of two artists, and required a lot of information additions. We had really hard time maintaining the first version of Fine Arts Boutique, and we had started drafting plans for the next improved version. What we really wanted to deliver even in the first version of our website was a great online gallery and presentation, one that would be intuitive and user friendly enough for our visitors to come back again and to share the website link with their friends.

With the idea of a great gallery and presentation in mind, we have taken the last endeavor to improve our website and to make it friendlier to our visitors, our artists, and even ourselves. We have decided to play serious this time, and we have teamed up with a strong development team and freelance writers to build the latest version. We have started working on this version in September of 2009, and now, in 2010, we are very excited about its final completion and launch. We have worked really hard on this website, and we truly hope that you will enjoy your viewing and browsing experience, while visiting us. We look forward to place more interesting information, to add more useful features, and to make our gallery even better.
